A Life for Barabbas
My debut novel, A Life for Barabbas, is Christian fiction built on Biblical facts, beginning with the Crucifixion of Christ. It imagines how Barabbas, this notorious prisoner charged with treason against Rome and murder, is stunned and confused when he is unexpectedly released and Jesus chosen to die instead. Based on my research and my background in developmental psychology – the scientific study of how and why human beings change over the course of their life – I imagine the journey this historical character might have taken.
